General James N. Mattis, USMC (Ret.)
General Mattis is widely known within the U.S. military as the most revered Marine Corps officer in a generation. Modern military historians chronicle him as one of America’s great soldier-scholars. In March 2013, he ended his service as the eleventh commander of U.S. Central Command, where he was responsible for U.S. military activities in one of the world’s most volatile regions, including Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

Dynamic and Insightful
As the former commander of the U.S. Central Command, Mattis oversaw the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, but his career mission has been against complacency. In modern warfare the reliance on better technology and superior firepower deadens the talent for innovation. This dependence blinds some officers to emerging threats and slows their ability to react to them. The U.S. military, “must avoid becoming dominant and irrelevant.” As a keynote speaker for your corporation, association or institution, General Mattis will excite and empower your audience. He will offer a unique perspective not often seen in the business community. Simply put, he is refreshing, informative and inspiring!
